About Post:- Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB), Patna has released the official notification for the Bihar State Teacher Eligibility Test (BSTET / STET 2026) under Advt. No. P.R.183/2026. The online application process will start on 17 August 2026 and the last date to submit the application form is 31 August 2026. Candidates holding a Bachelor’s Degree / B.Ed for Paper I (Class 9–10) or a Master’s Degree / B.Ed for Paper II (Class 11–12) are eligible to apply.   • Age Relaxation: Extra age relaxation applicable as per Bihar BSEB STET rules.

Paper Name Eligibility Criteria
Paper-I (Secondary Teacher – Class 9 to 10) Bachelor’s Degree in the relevant subject with at least 50% marks along with a B.Ed. Degree from a recognized university. (5% relaxation in marks for SC / ST / EBC / BC / Divyang candidates).
Paper-II (Senior Secondary Teacher – Class 11 to 12) Master’s Degree (Postgraduate) in the relevant subject with Second Division along with a B.Ed. Degree from a recognized university. (B.Ed is not required for Computer Science subject. 5% relaxation in marks for SC / ST / EBC / BC / Divyang candidates).

How To Fill Bihar STET Online Form 2026
  • Visit the official website of Bihar STET / BSEB or click on the direct registration link provided below once activated.
  • Click on “New Candidate Registration” and register with your active Mobile Number and Email ID.
  • Log in using your generated Registration Credentials.
  • Select the Paper option (Paper I, Paper II, or Both Papers) and fill in personal details, caste category, and academic qualifications carefully.
  • Upload scanned passport size photograph, signature, and educational documents/certificates in the required file format.
  • Pay the examination fee online via Debit Card, Credit Card, or Net Banking.
  • Submit your application form on or before 31 August 2026 and take a printout of the final confirmation page for future reference.
