About Post:- Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) has released the official notification for admission into Class 6th for the Academic Session 2027–28 through the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test (JNVST). Online application registration commenced on 07 July 2026 and the last date to submit the online form has been extended up to 07 August 2026. Students who are currently studying in Class 5th in government or government-recognized schools are eligible to apply free of cost. The entrance examination (Summer Bound) is scheduled to be conducted on 28 November 2026. Detailed eligibility criteria, exam dates, selection process, and application links are provided below.

How To Fill NVS Class 6 Admission Form 2027-28
  • Visit the official website of Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti at cbseitms.rcil.gov.in/nvs or navodaya.gov.in.
  • Click on the link titled “Click here to submit online application form for Class VI JNVST 2027-28”.
  • Download the candidate certificate form, get it signed by the school Headmaster/Principal, and fill in student details.
  • Complete the online registration by providing state, district, residential address, and candidate credentials.
  • Upload scanned copies of Candidate Photograph, Candidate Signature, Parent Signature, and Headmaster Verified Certificate.
  • Review all filled details carefully and click on the final Submit button.
  • Save and print a copy of the registration confirmation page for future reference.
